Reasons of practical order move us to reiterate some fundamental concepts that facilitate the good use of the services. Our experience indicates us that you can be basically in one of these two situations:
SITUATION No. 1: The nature of the problem is not very serious, and you are able to require the services of ASISTUR by yourself.
In such a supposition, you look in your card for the phone numbers of the Central Alarm Station of ASISTUR, and if you have to place a long distance call, request the Call Colect service, so that the cost is charged directly to the bill of ASISTUR. It is necessary to remark that some places do not have this communication service. In this case you will have to pay the cost of the call, and later request its refund by presentation of the justificatory note in our offices.
Once you are on line, carefully follow the instructions given to you by the Duty Operator. The efficiency of the requested assistance will depend mainly on this.
SITUATION No. 2: You have a serious health problem, the needs of assistance are very urgent, and you are not able to require by yourself the services of our central station because of your bad condition.
In this case, the important thing is that you receive immediate assistance where ever you are, through the health professionals and/or establishments that can assist you.
But after, during the 24 following hours you or any person accompaning you is to contact the corresponding Central Alarm Station of ASISTUR, providing all the information refered to the event suffered and the assistance you have received.
By so doing, our Central station will contact the Assistance Center where you are, in order to control all the phases of the assistance service and to warrant the expenses that correspond, according to the terms of the General Conditions.
